Web Development Specialist [ Job ID# 2 ]

Description: Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Web Development Specialist supports the functional and technical design, development and maintenance for all of Fenway's online properties, including Fenway's 2015 MITX Award-winning website,[[http:fenwayhealth.org|fenwayhealth.org]]. This position strategizes in close cooperation with members of the Communications team and other Fenway staff that support Fenway's mission and the work of its various departments and divisions.

Primary responsibilities include: helping to design, develop and maintain web-based solutions (including websites, applications, and email communications) that support Fenway's marketing and communications efforts; maintaining a working knowledge of a variety of content management systems (especially Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, and the Convio and HubSpot suites) as well as web design software, web applications and components, web hosting management tools, and web production software products; maintaining a working knowledge of current web development languages and techniques; defining, building and deploying user interface features and workflows; supporting search engine optimization and Google Analytics analysis and reporting; advising and supporting Fenway staff around digital media solutions related to Fenway's programs, including web development, accessibility and website usability; troubleshooting and debugging websites and applications; providing internal technical support for web-based solutions; ensuring consistency and adherence to Fenway Health brand guidelines across all platforms; and maintaining knowledge of current and emerging technologies and trends in web development & design.
